Core advantages
Most tools flatten a question paper into one block of text and leave the answer key stranded at the end. ExamParser reads each question's number, stem, options and correct answer as one unit, so the answer travels inside the question and the Google Form gets a file it will actually accept. It handles the question types teachers actually use — single choice (MC), multiple choice (MR), true/false and essay — and keeps each answer in its own field, so nothing gets lost in translation. That is exactly what makes pdf to google form conversion clean — every option and its answer key travels with the question, no rebuild needed.
Word .docx, PDF and even scanned past papers all import — no manual cleanup beforehand.
A whole paper is parsed in one pass — dozens or thousands of questions, with no truncation or errors from size.
Single choice, multiple response, true/false, cloze and essay are all recognized and labelled in the preview.
Diagrams, data tables and math formulas in the stem are preserved intact — no broken structure, no garbled text.
Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German and more — even mixed in one file — are all handled.
One parse builds a native Google Form — questions, options and the answer key land in the right fields, ready to share or attach to Classroom.
Google Form
ExamParser turns a paper into one Google Form item per question — multiple choice as a choice grid, multiple answer as checkboxes, true/false as a dropdown and essay as a paragraph — and sets the answer key so Quiz mode grades each response automatically. Images, options and the correct answer all land in the right place, so the form is ready to send the moment parsing finishes. Want to tweak first? Edit anything in the preview, then regenerate the form.
.docx or a Word file. The parser reads the number, stem, options and the correct answer for every question.
Every question becomes a row. Fix anything in place — edits flow straight into the Google Form.
ExamParser builds the form and opens it for you — questions, choices and the answer key already in place.
Send the link, embed it, or attach the form to a Classroom assignment. Grading is automatic once the answer key is set.

Preserved
Every part of a question stays attached to that question — number, stem, options and answer never drift apart. Beyond plain text, ExamParser also carries over images, tables and math formulas whenever the export format can hold them.
The original numbering of each item is kept, so order matches your source exactly.
The full prompt is extracted as one block, including bold text, bullets and inline formatting.
Every choice is captured in order — whether there are two options or twenty.
The correct answer travels inside the question and is set as the answer key in the Google Form.
Diagrams, graphs and figures stay embedded — written into the Google Form and the Word export where media is supported.
Tabular data is kept as a real table where the format allows, instead of being flattened into one line.
Equations are preserved as MathML / LaTeX so they render in the Google Form and the Word export — not as broken images.
Written only where the format allows. The Google Form and the Word (.docx) export keep images, tables and math formulas. CSV and plain Excel keep the text — numbers, stems, options and answers — but cannot carry media or equations.

FAQ
Yes — for Google Forms you must sign in. The form is created under your own Google account, so we ask you to sign in before uploading. If you're not signed in, the sign-in dialog opens automatically and the file won't upload until you're in. Once signed in, ExamParser builds the quiz and hands it to your account as a Google Form you own, edit and share.
